About Us

Automation & Web Excellence for Bespoke Businesses.

RAAIX is a software studio based in Malmesbury, UK. We work with bespoke independent businesses to analyse their operations and build a unified digital ecosystem of branding, high-performance websites, and specialised automation.

We started RAAIX because we kept seeing the same pattern across industries: talented professionals drowning in administrative tasks. Chasing invoices. Updating spreadsheets. Copying information between apps. Sending the same follow-up emails over and over.

These aren't creative problems. They're process problems. And process problems can be automated.

Our first product, DesBu, is a complete operating system for bespoke studios. While it began in the architectural space, its core power lies in managing high-value projects where every lead needs careful tracking, and every sale requires flawless execution.

Path 02 — Built for You

Custom — Built Around Your Process

When a product doesn't quite fit, we build to spec. We spend time inside your workflow first — mapping where effort is wasted, where handoffs break, where you're chasing information between systems. Then we build the thing that removes all of that.

  • Extend DesBu with bespoke features
  • Standalone systems built from scratch
  • Websites & brand identity
  • Automation & AI integrations
  • Ongoing support & iteration

Most clients start with DesBu, then come to us for custom work as they grow.

What We Believe

01

Your tools should fit your workflow.

Not the other way around. Generic software forces you to bend your process to fit their templates. We build software that matches how you actually work — not how some product manager thinks you should work.

02

Automation should be invisible.

The best automation works quietly in the background. You shouldn't need to watch dashboards or check logs. You should just notice that you have more time and less stress.

03

Transparency matters.

We don't hide behind black-box AI or 'magic' algorithms. Every automation we build has visible logic you can understand, trace, and trust. If something goes wrong, you can see exactly what happened and why.

Our Approach

We don't build generic software.

Generic tools try to work for everyone. That means they work perfectly for no one. You end up with software that's 80% right for your workflow — and you spend your time working around the 20% that doesn't fit.

This is why bespoke automation is so valuable. One company's perfect solution is another company's nightmare. Even businesses in the same industry have fundamentally different processes, priorities, and pain points.

We build purpose-built tools for specific workflows. DesBu is designed specifically for design-build professionals. It doesn't try to be a general-purpose project management tool. It tries to be exactly right for one specific workflow.

Who's Behind RAAIX
Mark Scott, Founder of RAAIX

Mark Scott.

Founder

RAAIX was founded by Mark Scott, a designer and maker who spent over two decades watching professionals fight their tools instead of doing their work.

Mark's journey began in 2002 as a designer and maker. Throughout his career working with various businesses, he noticed a recurring pattern: incredibly talented people spending 30-40% of their time on administrative tasks that could be automated.

But it wasn't just the time waste that struck him. It was the frustration. The constant context-switching. The anxiety about what might fall through the cracks. The resignation that "this is just how it is."
